You decide what Claude can read
The authorization is given on a Sweeprice page, seeing who asks, for which account and with which permissions. Nothing is shared before your click.
The Sweeprice Claude connector links your Sweeprice account to Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code). You ask in plain language where a product stands, who holds the best offer or which alerts came in overnight, and Claude reads your Sweeprice data to answer. It can also add a product to track or set a floor, never more. Available from the Pro plan.

Three steps, twelve tools, and guarantees written down. Here is what Claude sees, what it can do and what it will never do.
Add the connector
In Claude, open Settings then Connectors, choose "Add custom connector", name it Sweeprice and paste this address.
https://mcp.sweeprice.com/mcp Authorize the access
Claude sends you to a Sweeprice page. Sign in to your account, check the requested permissions and click Authorize. You are back in Claude.
Ask your question
Ask for instance "on which products am I priced above the best competitor?". Claude calls Sweeprice and answers with your readings.
Every screen is covered in the connection guide
The twelve tools are declared to Claude with their nature, read or write. It tells you about a write before making it.

On which products am I more than 5% above the best competitor?
Claude reads your price positions and returns the list sorted by gap, with the competitor and the reading's date.
Who holds the best offer on my 10 most expensive Cdiscount listings?
It lists your Cdiscount products, opens the offers of the ten most expensive and names the leading seller on each.
Summarise last night's alerts and tell me which ones deserve an action.
It reads your recent alerts, groups them by cause and suggests an order to handle them.
Add this Amazon product to tracking with a floor at 24.90.
It adds the product to your catalog, sets the floor, then confirms both writes.
What is the 90-day price history of this product?
It pulls the series of readings and describes the moves, drop by drop.

Four actions, the same as the subscriber API, declared to Claude as writes. No price is ever changed on a marketplace.
Your connected apps are listed in your settings, with their last use. Revoking cuts the access at once; every call counts against your allowance.
The details of the processing are in the privacy policy
Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Sweeprice is published by MossPig Lab and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
The connector is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol), the open standard an assistant uses to call a third-party service. Once Sweeprice is connected, Claude has twelve tools: eight to read, four to act. It calls them when your question needs them, and only then.
In practice, you open a conversation and ask: "on which products am I priced above the best competitor?". Claude calls the price positions tool, receives the list with the gaps and the timestamped readings, and answers quoting those figures. No data is copied to Anthropic ahead of time: every answer starts from a call you triggered.
From claude.ai, Claude Desktop or the mobile app: Settings, Connectors, "Add custom connector", then paste the address https://mcp.sweeprice.com/mcp. Claude sends you to a Sweeprice page where you sign in to your account and authorize the access. The three apps share one connectors list: a single authorization is enough.
From Claude Code, one terminal command adds the server, then the /mcp command opens the authorization in your browser. The return goes to a local address on your machine, which the Sweeprice screen points out.
No API key to copy, no configuration file: the connection relies on OAuth, the same mechanism as "Sign in with Google". The step-by-step guide covers every screen.
The useful questions are the ones you already ask yourself in the morning, before opening the dashboard. They fit in one sentence, and Claude picks the tools to call.
Four writes, not one more: add a product to track (by link or barcode), set a floor and a ceiling, pick the mode of a line (watch, recommend or reprice), mark notifications as read. They are the same as the subscriber API's, with the same bounds.
Claude never changes a price on a marketplace. Repricing stays yours: your rules, your floors, your validation. The connector sees neither your marketplace credentials, nor your payment methods, nor your invoices, and can delete nothing. Every write tool is declared as such to Claude, which tells you before acting.
You authorize the connector from a Sweeprice page, seeing who asks for access (the application's address, claude.ai for instance), for which account and with which permissions. The token issued is specific to your account and that application; it expires and renews without anything to do on your side, and it is revocable in one click from Settings, API, Connected apps.
Data leaves Sweeprice only in answer to a tool your question triggered, and only what that tool returns. Anthropic processes it to answer you, under the terms of your Claude account. Sweeprice never reads your conversations. Every call is counted and visible in your allowance.
The connector is included from the Pro plan, like the subscriber API, at no extra charge. Claude's calls draw on the same monthly allowance as the API: 10,000 calls on Pro, 100,000 on Scale. One tool call counts as one call.
On the Claude side, an account is enough to add a custom connector. One Sweeprice account can be connected to several Claude accounts, each with its own token, listed and revocable separately.
Same connector, same twelve tools, same Sweeprice account. claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile app share the connectors list of your Claude account: one authorization covers the three. Claude Code, the command-line agent, is added separately with one command, and its authorization returns to a local address on your machine.
In the apps you chat; in Claude Code you can chain the connector with your own scripts, for instance export your price positions to a file every morning. Both rely on the same server and the same permissions.
No. The connector uses OAuth: you authorize the access from a Sweeprice page while signed in to your account, and Claude receives a token specific to that authorization. Your API key, if you have one, stays independent.
Pro or above, the same rule as the subscriber API. On a Starter plan, the authorization screen offers the upgrade to Pro; nothing is connected until then.
No. The connector never changes a price on a marketplace. Claude can set a floor and a ceiling, or pick the mode of a line, and your repricing rules then apply as usual.
Only what a tool returns in answer to your question: the list of positions, the offers of a product, your alerts. Nothing is sent ahead of time or continuously. Those answers are processed by Anthropic under the terms of your Claude account.
From Settings, API, Connected apps: one click revokes the token and Claude loses access at once. You can also remove the connector on the Claude side; a new authorization will be asked at the next use.
Yes. The monthly allowance is shared between the API and the connected apps, one tool call counts as one call. Once it runs out, Claude tells you and everything resumes the next month.
Yes. Connectors are attached to your Claude account, not to a device. An authorization given on claude.ai holds on Desktop and on mobile.
Because Claude Code runs on your machine: after your authorization, the browser returns to a local address (localhost) to hand it the code. The warning invites you to check that your own terminal asked for the access.
It answers from the readings the connector returns, each dated and attributed to a marketplace. Ask it to quote the reading's date if you want to check, and open the dashboard for the detail.
Yes. Each authorization creates a distinct token, listed among your connected apps and revocable separately.
