Terms of Use

These terms of use govern access to and use of the site and services offered by sweeprice.com, published by MossPig Lab.

2.Purpose of the service

sweeprice.com allows users to monitor their competitors' prices on marketplaces (Amazon, Cdiscount, ManoMano) and on merchant pages, to receive price-change alerts and to define pricing rules. The service is accessible via a web interface, and offered according to several monthly or annual subscription plans.

3.Acceptance of conditions

Use of the site implies full acceptance of these T&Cs. By accessing the service, the user acknowledges having read the conditions and accepts them without reservation.

4.Account creation and management

Access to certain features requires the creation of a user account. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their identifiers. MossPig Lab reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of fraudulent use or non-compliance with these conditions.

5.Use of the service

Users undertake not to use sweeprice.com for unlawful or defamatory purposes, or in ways liable to infringe the rights of others. Any abusive use, in particular automated data collection for purposes not provided for by the service or contrary to the terms of the monitored third-party sites, is strictly prohibited. Where a user connects a marketplace seller account, they warrant that they are entitled to do so and to consent to the operations they authorise. It is their responsibility to check that this use complies with the terms of the marketplace concerned, and to revoke access from their account or from the marketplace whenever they wish.

6.Personal data and confidentiality

sweeprice.com collects data strictly necessary for the provision of the service. This data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data is transferred outside the European Union. The user can exercise their rights of access, rectification and deletion by contacting: privacy@mosspig.dev.

7.Intellectual property

All content of the site (text, images, graphics, source code, logo, “sweeprice.com” brand) is the exclusive property of MossPig Lab. Any reproduction or distribution, total or partial, without written authorization, is strictly prohibited.

8.Liability

sweeprice.com is a decision-support tool. The information displayed consists of observations of third-party sites and recommendations derived from rules configured by the user; it constitutes neither advice nor any guarantee of outcome. MossPig Lab endeavours to keep the service accessible but warrants neither its continuity, nor the absence of error, nor the accuracy, completeness or freshness of the data collected, which depends on third-party sites over which it has no control. The user remains solely responsible for their pricing decisions and for the prices actually applied to their listings, including where they result from an adjustment or automatic update feature they have themselves enabled and configured. The detailed liability, indirect-damage exclusion and cap provisions are set out in the Terms of Sale, which prevail for the paid contractual relationship.

9.Security and hosting

The data is hosted on Scaleway's secure infrastructures (France and European Union). Regular backups are made. However, MossPig Lab cannot be held responsible in the event of loss of data resulting from a force majeure event or an external computer attack.

10.Modifications to the T&Cs

MossPig Lab reserves the right to modify these conditions of use at any time. Users will be informed of any updates via the site or by email. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the new conditions.

11.Applicable law and jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.
